Meet Wilma

What was your path to becoming a Mental Health Therapist?
While working as a social worker, I had the opportunity to be present at my client’s therapy sessions with mental health counselors, psychologists, and/or psychiatrists. That experience motivated me to become a mental health counselor because I wanted to help children and adults with their mental health issues.

What should someone know about working with you?
Working with me is relaxing. It includes a lot of doses of healthy humor and happiness. Laughing is not only the key to a good therapy session but also to a work environment. I love to work in a friendly workplace. I am always open to constructive criticism, new scientific evidence, and techniques.
