What is FSPT Funding?

• FSPT is a program that helps children and adults with mental health needs access support and therapy services.

• The program is funded by the Department of Children and Families and managed by Children’s Home Society of Florida.

• These funds cover mental health services that help clients meet their treatment goals.

• If a client needs multiple services, Targeted Case Management (TCM) can coordinate and help fund them.

Who is Eligible?

• Lives in Orange, Brevard, Seminole, or Osceola County.

• Not in foster care or dependency.

• Has a mental health need or diagnosis.

• No Medicaid, commercial insurance, or funds to pay for services (families above 150% of poverty guidelines may have a small cost).

• Exceptions can be made for services not covered by Medicaid or insurance.

• Certified Behavior Analyst

What This Means for PBS:

• Our FSPT funding contract is approved.

• We can provide mental health services to eligible clients and have the costs covered by FSPT.

• This allows PBS to serve more clients in need without financial barriers.

At Positive Behavioral Solutions, we have Clinical Interns who are working toward their Master’s degree and are under Supervision of a Licensed Therapist. Our Clinical Interns offer 12 counseling sessions for FREE to you, your child, or family!

How Do I Know I Qualify?

• You do not have insurance.

• You do not have insurance and cannot afford to pay out-of-pocket for services.

• You are waiting on your insurance to be eligible for services.
