Adoption Competency Training (ACT) is a trauma-informed and evidence-based therapeutic supporting Adoption and Foster Families. ACT offers tools, techniques, and interventions for Mental and Behavioral Health professionals to use with Adoption and Foster families.

ACT focuses on understanding the unique psychology of adoption and the different stages adopted children go through as they grow. It addresses the challenges faced by adopted and foster children, including issues related to trauma and attachment. The therapy includes trauma-informed care and attachment-focused methods, helping families work together to support their child’s emotional needs. It also provides strategies for managing behavioral problems that can arise from past traumatic experiences.

The Modular Approach to Therapy for Children – Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Conduct (MATCH-ADTC) is a proven counseling program that helps children dealing with a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and difficulties related to ADHD. It's designed to address multiple problems at once effectively giving children, teens, and families the support they need to feel better.

MATCH-ADTC provides children, teens, and families with practical tools to handle challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, behavior issues, and ADHD. The program helps improve their experiences at home, school, and in social situations, and it typically takes between 10 to 23 sessions to see positive results.

The CBT Approach to Treating Anxiety Disorders: A Gradual Exposure Workshop

Exposure is a key component of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for treating anxiety disorders. Despite its proven efficacy, many clinicians find it challenging to integrate exposure into their practice. This workshop aims to equip clinicians with the knowledge and confidence to effectively facilitate exposure therapy for clients ages 6 and older.
