Meet Vivian
“Overcome your personal barriers and rewrite your life story, on your terms”
What was your path to becoming a mental health therapist?
I come from a technical background where I offered support to vocational rehabilitation counselors in Puerto Rico. I'm also a parent of a special needs child, a journey that exposed me to an amazing wrap-around battery of services. I have witnessed the effects of stress on special-needs caregivers, as well as on the geriatric population. These experiences influenced my interest in counseling, art therapy, and assistive technology.
What should someone know about working with you?
I strongly believe you can write your own story. Change happens when you will it and work hard towards it. I am transparent, and empathic, and value the truth above all. My goal is to empower you to become the best version of yourself, so you can overcome your barriers and rewrite your life story on your terms.
