Meet Terrell
What was your path to becoming a mental health therapist?
I was initially trained as a School Psychologist and after practicing for 16 years, I got tired of the bureaucracy and politics. I took some time off to have my sons. I feel that God was calling me to work as a Mental Health Therapist to help people reach their potential to educate and encourage them to be true to themselves and their goals.
What should someone know about working with you?
I am who I am. I am a Christian and I am going to tell you like it is. I do not believe in sugarcoating life. A couple of my "Terrellisms" include, "Life is not fair, get used to it,” "Say what you mean and mean what you say,” and “If you are not going to follow through with something, then do not say it." I also encourage people to get an education as I believe that education is vital to success.
