Meet Sharika

What was your path to becoming a mental health therapist?
My passion for helping others led me to become a therapist. While working as a Practice HR Manager in a corporate setting, I witnessed firsthand how life’s challenges outside of work impacted people’s behavior and performance on the job. Many employees would come to me, seeking a listening ear to make it through their day. These experiences revealed the deep need for support and understanding in people’s lives, and I felt called to provide that on a deeper level. Becoming a therapist allowed me to combine my natural empathy with professional skills to guide individuals toward healing and growth. Helping people navigate life’s challenges and discover their potential is not just my career—it’s my purpose.

What should someone know about working with you?
Working with me means entering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where your unique experiences are valued. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, blending empathy with practical tools to help you achieve your goals. I focus on fostering self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth, and I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and empowerment.
