What was your path to becoming a mental health therapist?
I started my journey as a licensed psychologist back in my country Venezuela. Since then I have had the privilege of working with many children and have been amazed by the impact of therapeutic interventions on a child's growth and development. Upon transitioning to become a Mental Health Counselor in the United States, I adjusted my approach and strategies to prioritize the well-being of my clients. I work with their strengths and aim to impact their lives by helping them acquire social skills, decrease problem behaviors, improve emotional connections with others, enhance language and communication skills, improve attention and focus, learn daily living skills, and manage feelings of aggression, depression, and anxiety.

What should someone know about working with you?
I have always found great joy in working with children and have seen firsthand the positive changes that occur when using a collaborative approach. I prioritize working closely with my clients and their caregivers, empowering them with insights into how various environmental factors can shape their behavior. My ultimate goal is to foster a solid and supportive parent-child relationship to maximize the child's development potential while promoting the well-being of the family dynamics.
