LaKeisha graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services. LaKeisha later graduated from Walden University with a Master of Social Work Degree in Advance Clinical Social Work and is currently a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern in the state of Florida. LaKeisha has been practicing therapy for three years and has experience working with children (ages 5-18) and adults for over twenty years.

What was your path to becoming a mental health therapist?
My path to becoming a mental health therapist began with me witnessing the difference that individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy have made in the lives of those encountering life changes and stressors. As a mental health provider, I love helping others obtain emotional wellness through psychotherapy.   

What should someone know about working with you?
I take pride in being efficient and offering a nonjudgmental, comfortable environment for all clients.  I look forward to facilitating a dynamic and collaborative process using a variety of mental health therapy modalities or styles.
