Jorge holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. Before pursuing his master’s, he worked as a Registered Behavior Therapist for two years, supporting children and families in developing emotional and behavioral skills. During his graduate internship at Aspire Health Partners, he gained valuable experience working with individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. He has experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and personal growth, guiding them toward greater confidence and clarity.

What was your path to becoming a Mental Health Therapist?
Jorge has always been fascinated by how people think, feel, and navigate life’s challenges. His experience as a Registered Behavior Therapist deepened his understanding of emotional and behavioral patterns, inspiring him to pursue a career in counseling. His work at Aspire Health Partners strengthened his ability to support clients with complex mental health needs. He is passionate about providing a safe, supportive space where people feel truly heard and empowered to explore their emotions.

Jorge takes a warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative approach. He believes in meeting clients where they are with zero judgment. He works with clients to explore their emotions, develop practical coping strategies, and build a sense of grounding and control in their lives.
