Helping People Achieve Positive Outcomes

Faith Walker, M.S.
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Mental Health Therapist

Faith is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) from Orange Park, Florida. Her path to becoming a therapist began with a strong interest in helping people navigate tough life moments, which led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University. She has experience working primarily with children and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression, using play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as her main approaches.

I want you to feel seen, heard, and understood in your work with me, and I strive to create a space where that feels possible every time we meet.
— Faith Walker, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Meet Faith

What was your path to pursuing the mental health field?
I’ve always known that I wanted to connect with people on a deeper, personal level. When I discovered that there was an entire profession dedicated to supporting others through both the best and most difficult moments of life, it felt like the perfect fit. As I began learning more about the field and interacting with skilled clinicians, my passion for mental health work only grew. Their example inspired me to pursue this path myself so that I could develop as a clinician and give back to my community in meaningful ways.

What should someone know about working with you?
I believe in collaboration. While I bring my training and tools, I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to find what feels most supportive for you. You are the expert of your own experience!
