Helping People Achieve Positive Outcomes
Devon Bryant, M.S.
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Mental Health Therapist
Devon Bryant is more than a therapist—he is a catalyst for transformation, a fierce advocate for those who have felt unheard, and a dedicated partner in your journey toward healing. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University, Devon specializes in working with individuals, teens, and adults navigating identity, trauma, and emotional challenges. His approach is rooted in resilience, self-discovery, and empowerment—helping clients break cycles of pain and step into the fullest version of themselves.
His work at the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services, Dismas Charities, and Aspire Health Partners has given him a deep understanding of the struggles faced by individuals who feel trapped by their past. During his Clinical Internship at STEPS Foundation, Inc., Devon provided interventions that not only helped clients heal but also gave them the confidence to reclaim their voices. Today, he continues to create a space where people are seen, valued, and empowered to rewrite their stories on their own terms.
Meet Devon
“You are not broken. You are becoming. Every challenge, every hardship, every moment of doubt is shaping you into the person you are meant to be. Healing isn’t about erasing the past—it’s about reclaiming your power and stepping fully into your future.”
What was your path to becoming a mental health therapist?
My journey to becoming a therapist was born from a passion for helping others unlock their full potential. At the TRIO Upward Bound Program, I supported first-generation college-bound students in navigating the complexities of higher education while developing confidence and resilience. There, I saw the power of mentorship, guidance, and emotional support in shaping someone’s future.
As I transitioned into roles at the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services and Dismas Charities, I witnessed how unaddressed trauma and systemic challenges could impact emotional well-being. I knew then that my purpose was to provide a space where individuals could heal, break generational cycles, and find the strength to create a life they deserve. I believe healing happens through connection, empowerment, and a commitment to rewriting your story.
What should someone know about working with you?
Therapy with me is more than just a conversation—it’s a partnership in transformation. I create a space where you can show up as your most authentic self, free from judgment and full of possibility. Whether you’re navigating trauma, struggling with identity, or seeking a sense of direction, I am here to support you with compassion, honesty, and unwavering belief in your potential.
Beyond therapy, I find joy in creative expression through art, spending time with my dog, and exploring new places. These experiences shape the way I view healing—reminding me that growth comes from both reflection and adventure. Just as every brushstroke or journey tells a story, so does your path to healing, and I am honored to walk alongside you.
