Meet Dámarys
What was your path to becoming a mental health therapist?
My path was shaped by witnessing the impact of illness on families, experiencing the pain of loss to suicide, and seeing the toll of community violence. These experiences, along with years spent in leadership roles across different fields, reinforced my natural empathy and compassion. I knew my purpose was to support those seeking healing and hope.
What should someone know about working with you?
Empathy is at the heart of my work. I am here to listen without judgment and create a space where you can truly feel heard, valued, and accepted. My goal is for each session to be a safe place where you can freely express yourself and know that you’re understood.
