What was your path to becoming a mental health therapist?
My path toward becoming a therapist started when I worked at a behavioral school. From there I worked in children's homes and group homes with children who suffered from behavioral and/or mental health challenges. I soon became a Case Manager for several populations and interned at an outpatient facility that helped teens with substance abuse disorders, in addition to the CAT (Children's Community Action Team) program. My passion, curiosity, and love for family structure and its dynamics were what led me to this career as a therapist. I believe that the first step to healing the world is the step that starts at home!

What should someone know about working with you?
Anyone who works with me knows that I am a team player and love to help! My style when working with clients and families is strength-based and I understand that everyone is uniquely made! Using a positive approach and the tools to help an individual and its parts succeed helps a person reach the outcomes that are truly desired.
