Positive Behavioral Solutions

Helping People Achieve Positive Outcomes

Camila Nolasco

Student Intern

Camila is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She has always been passionate about working with people and understanding human behavior. This past summer, Camila had the opportunity to shadow a therapist at a daycare, which deepened her interest in the field and confirmed her desire to work in mental health. That experience sparked her curiosity about the therapeutic process and its positive impact it can have on individuals. Camila is very excited for this internship because it will allow her to expand her knowledge and gain experience working with a different age group, something she has not yet explored.

Why did you choose to pursue an internship in the mental health field?
This past summer, my curiosity about therapy grew when I had the opportunity to shadow a therapist at a daycare. That experience confirmed my passion for the mental health field because I witnessed firsthand the positive impact a therapist can have on someone’s life. In the future, I hope to make the same kind of difference for others.

What is a fun fact about you?
I am very artsy, and I played field hockey my whole life.
