Meet Brittany

What was your path to becoming a Mental Health Therapist?
I’ve always been drawn to understanding human behavior and supporting others in overcoming challenges. My journey into the mental health field started with a strong interest in psychology during my academic years, which eventually led me to pursue a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I became particularly passionate about working with people facing trauma, as I realized how deeply it can affect individuals’ lives. After earning my degree and gaining clinical experience, I worked in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, and private practice where I had the privilege of supporting individuals of all ages. Over time, I’ve specialized in working with individuals dealing with psychiatric disorders and trauma, always seeking to grow and learn from each person I work with.

What should someone know about working with you?
I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. My approach is empathetic, and client-centered. I tailor my therapeutic style to meet the individual needs of each person I work with. I emphasize collaboration and transparency, ensuring that we’re always on the same page about treatment goals and progress. My ultimate goal is to empower clients to develop the skills and insights they need to overcome challenges and build a fulfilling life. I also believe in the importance of building trust and maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship, as I see it as a partnership in the healing process.
