What was your path to becoming a mental health therapist?
My path to becoming a mental health therapist was very organic and natural for me. I was drawn to social work during college and knew I wanted to be in a field where I could be helpful, participate in fulfilling work, and advocate for others. After graduating, I realized that case management and other aspects of social work weren't for me. I wanted to practice at a more therapeutic level, which I thoroughly enjoy.
