Our groups and community activities are open to anyone that is interested in participating. There is no fee or  requirements for attending group activities unless listed otherwise. Please feel free to bring a friend or simply be open to joining a positive support system. POSITIVE REFLECTIONS: Grief Group 11:00 AM EST via Zoom

Third Tuesday of Every Month

In partnership with Mental Health Association of Central Florida, offering a FREE support group for our community.

This support group is for adults grieving due to the loss of a loved one (family, significant other, pet, etc). We welcome you to join this support system for additional comfort, resources, and guidance. Topics covered in this group involve stress of grief, tips for coping during the holidays, and learning how to reach out for help during difficult times. DEALING WITH ANXIETY SUPPORT GROUP 8 Consecutive Weeks at 11:00 AM via Zoom 


Members of this group will be able to understand and manage their anxiety and stress.

Members of this group will realize that anxiety and stress are normal responses from the brain to keep us safe.

Members of this group will learn what anxiety is and how it manifests in our bodies and brain’s.

Members of this group will learn how to challenge negative, anxious thoughts and what worries they can control as a coping and management strategy.

Members of this group will learn new coping skills and healthy habits to enhance their management of anxiety and stress.

Mindful Monday Beginners Yoga at 4:00PM EST via Zoom 

Last Monday of every Month

This class is for everyone, from beginners and beyond. Our beginners yoga is a practice that uses meditation and restortative yoga poses to help ease the mind and alleviate stress. The meditation portion will be guided and an opportunity to help clear your mind. The yoga portion of the class will be gentle and relaxing to help ease any muscle tension. This practice is a great way to help release any stress or anxiety to help start your week on a positive mindset.

Rutgers University Adoption Competency Training Program will benefit mental health professionals, targeted case managers, child welfare staff, adoption case managers, and other community professionals who work with adoptive children and their families. We are offering this 5 day course to help professionals gain more knowledge as it relates to adoption.
