Our groups and community activities are open to our local community. There is no fee or requirements for attending group activities unless listed otherwise. Please feel free to bring a friend or simply be open to joining a positive support system. Postpartum Support Group 6:00 PM EST 

Group meets virtually via ZOOM 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month

Facilitated by Micaela Thomas, LCSW certified in perinatal mental health, this group offers peer to peer and emotional support. Safe space to discuss all things motherhood. Must pre register in advance, for further details or concerns please contact Micaela at [email protected]  




Group meets virtually via ZOOM Third Tuesday of Every Month

In partnership with Mental Health Association of Central Florida, offering a FREE support group for our community.

This support group is for adults grieving due to the loss of a loved one (family, significant other, pet, etc). We welcome you to join this support system for additional comfort, resources, and guidance. Topics covered in this group involve stress of grief, tips for coping during the holidays, and learning how to reach out for help during difficult times. After the Storm Support Group 5:30PM EST 

Group meets virtually via Zoom on Mondays 

A free support group focused on supporting individuals who have been discharged from a mental health treatment facility re-integrate back into the community.

Revolving 4 week group focused on weekly topics relevant to promoting stability and well being.

Parent Support Group- Social Emotional Intelligence at 5:30PM EST 

Group meets Virtually via Zoom every Wednesday

In this group parents will learn how to engage in healthy communication styles to best meet and support their child's social/emotional well being. Parents will learn skills that can be applied at home, such as modeling appropriate behaviors, nurturing child's self-esteem, respecting differences, and problem solving.

Anxiety Mutual Support Group 12:00 PM EST via Zoom 

Group meets virtually via Zoom every 3rd Monday

Members of this group will be able to understand and manage their anxiety and stress.

Members of this group will realize that anxiety and stress are normal responses from the brain to keep us safe.

Members of this group will learn what anxiety is and how it manifests in our bodies and brain’s.

Members of this group will learn how to challenge negative, anxious thoughts and what worries they can control as a coping and management strategy.

Members of this group will learn new coping skills and healthy habits to enhance their management of anxiety and stress.

Virtual Group

Strong & Thriving - Womens Empowerment Group at 5:00 PM EST

Group meets Virtually via Zoom on select Wednesdays

Strong and Thriving will provide women ages 16 and up with a safe and inclusive space to discuss important issues including healthy relationships, self worth, mental health, communication, identity, and more. Spend some time with peers that can offer you support, wisdom, and friendship. The group will meet every other Wednesday from February 9th until May 18th at Positive Behavioral Solutions, Ashley Park Court from 5-6PM.

LOVE is LOVE - A Support Group for LGBTQ+ Teens at 5:00PM EST 

Group Setting: 7635 Ashley Park Court - Conference room Orlando FL 32835

Love is Love will provide a safe space for teens ages 14-19 to discuss topics related to their identities as part of the LGBTQ+ community. Topics can range from self-esteem, identity, relationships, sexuality, coming out, safety, mental health, and more. Group members will build a community of trust, understanding and peer support. The group will meet every other Wednesday from February 2nd until May 11th at the Positive Behavioral Solutions Ashley Park office from 5-6 pm.

Rutgers University Adoption Competency Training Program will benefit mental health professionals, targeted case managers, child welfare staff, adoption case managers, and other community professionals who work with adoptive children and their families. We are offering this 5 day course to help professionals gain more knowledge as it relates to adoption this FALL 2022. Registration for training  dates is now open, please email Juanita Carbajal [email protected] for further information.  Must attend all training days to receive course completion and certification. 

Registration is open to 15 applicants.
